Master Yanchen

Founder of Shaolin Pastoral Kungfu School. Born into a traditional martial arts family, Master Yan Chen has dedicated his life to preserving ancient heritage. If you are looking for a true Chinese Shaolin kung fu master Yan Chen is a renowned master who has served as the chief referee at the Shaolin Kung Fu Online Assessment Competition.

As a highly respected Shaolin kung fu master, he holds elite certifications: National Level 1 Coach, National Level 1 Wushu Referee, and National Level 1 Social Sports Instructor. He holds a 6th Duan in Chinese Wushu and an 8th Duan in the official Shaolin Duan System. He specializes deeply in traditional Shaolin Kungfu including Qigong, advanced grappling & joint locking (Qin Na), and core Shaolin Quan forms.

In his role as an international Shaolin kung fu school founder and cultural ambassador:
• From 2008 to 2009, he was appointed to establish official Shaolin Temple Cultural Centers in Singapore and Australia.
• He successfully led the Shaolin Warrior Monks Troupe at the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation, held at the historic Great Hall of the People.
• He has visited and toured extensively with the troupe in a total of 32 countries globally.
• He was awarded the title of Outstanding Coach at the 12th Shaolin International Wushu Festival.
• He served honorably as the Head Coach of the Shaolin Africa Training Program under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China.
